Group Training AT UNIVERSAL



(Tuesday @ 7:30pm)
The instructor will take a few minutes to explain the purpose and goal behind a BODYPUMP class, as well as explain what equipment is needed. Then with the remaining time will teach 4 tracks, all with low impact options.

EASY YOGA (Wednesday @ 5:45pm)
The instructor will explain what to expect in a yoga class, the purpose of being barefoot and what equipment is needed. With the remaining time we will go through a slow, simple yoga sequence.
EASY RIDER (Tuesday @ 6:30pm)
The instructor will get each member set up on a bike and explain the positioning so they are able to set themselves up on their own. With the remaining time we will coach 4 tracks, all with low impact options.
Ambassador classes are also offered throughout the week, where one of our friendly Ambassadors will help you get set up, answer your questions, and take the beginning part of the class with you!  Click here to view a schedule which includes Ambassador classes.

BODYSTEP™ uses a step which can be adjusted to any height to meet the needs of the participant. This class features cardiovascular intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks designed to shape the entire lower body. Motivating music to keep you Steppin’.

The sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Everyone will be motivated, from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

Featuring simple but seriously hot dance moves, SH’BAM™ is the perfect way to shape up and let out your inner star - even if you’re dance challenged. Set to a soundtrack of chart-topping popular hits, SH’BAM™ is the ultimate fun and sociable way to exercise.

(45 & 60 minutes)
A latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exhilarating, and effective fitness system.  This class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobics/fitness approach. This class known as a ZUMBA® Fitness Party is for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

This low-impact, whole body group fitness workout uses Vive balls & tubes, along with your own body weight to boost fitness and core strength.  All classes are choreographed to popular mainstream music that will leave you fizzing with energy!



(30 minutes)

A Les Mills personal training style group fitness class that provides core strength by targeting all muscle groups from your core.  The resistance tubing will be used during this class, which research shows will give the optimum training for class members to achieve results.

(60 minutes)

Is a revolutionary weight training workout in a group fitness setting, that uses barbells with adjustable weights.  Set to motivating music, BODYPUMP™ is a simple, athletic based workout that strengthens, tones and defines every major muscle in the body.  Ideal for the beginner through the experienced exerciser.


EASY RIDER (30 minutes)
This class is perfect for those new to exercise or indoor cycling.  You will learn how to set up an indoor bike, then cycle 15-20 minutes to music used in RPM™ class.  We will keep the intensity level low so that you can pedal at your own pace.  No previous experience needed.

(60 minutes or 45 minutes)

RPM™  is an indoor cycling program for developing cardiovascular capacity.  Burning up to 500 calories in a single class.  RPM™ is about high energy, having fun, and reducing body fat.  RPM™ provides fast improvement in general endurance and an increase in lower body strength. Try this ‘rock concert on wheels’ will love it!.

This extended cycling class is for those who want to go the extra distance! We will add more climbs and more free spins to make this ride a super calorie burner and an extreme cardio workout. We recommend that you have some indoor cycling experience before attending this class.

We recommend that you bring a towel and water bottle to class.

BODYFLOW™  is the revolution in mind-body training that is changing the way people feel about their bodies. This class is a dynamic exercise-to-music program that leaves members feeling relaxed and renewed.  BODYFLOW™ combines the best of eastern disciplines, like yoga and tai chi, with popular new methods like Pilates.  Come FLOW with us!

MAT PILATES (60 minutes)
This original ‘core workout’ will change your whole body and help you gain flexibility & strength.  A certified instructor will guide you through floor and standing exercise.  Modifications can be made for all fitness levels.

YOGA (60 minutes) 
Inhale strength, exhale stress. Yoga postures are linkedtogether with breath in an athletic flow, increasing muscle strength and flexibility, building endurance, improving balance, and gaining mental focus. Multi-level options make it suitable for all fitness levels.
