Benefits of Universal's Martial Art's Program:

At Universal, you have the opportunity to earn your International Tae Kwon Do Certification program through Korean-based Kukkiwon!

  • Students in he Universal Martial Arts Program will receive Dan/Poom and Gyup Certifications through the UNTN (USA National Taekwondo Network).

  • Because of the international certification, students who continue to work through the ranks can qualify to compete in Olympic Tae Kwon Do.
  • All or students have the opportunity to earn a world-recognized Tae Kwon Do certification.

UAC's Martial Arts program is overseen by Master Steve Kirby, a 6th Degree Black Belt through the WTF/Kukkiwon in Korea and an 8th Degree Black Belt with the UNTN.

Also on our team of instructors is Jim Oplinger, who brings over 11 years of experience to the UAC Martial Arts Program. Jim is currently a 3rd Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt and 3rd Dan UNTN Black Belt.

Kris Smith is a 1
st Dan with 6 years experience in the Martial Arts program at UAC. She is the Little Ninjas Instructor and the Administrator for the Martial Arts program. David Romero and his son Krystopher are also Assistant Instructors. They have been practicing Tae Kwon Do for 5 years, with the last 2 years being at Universal. They both received their 2nd Dan in November 2014.

We look forwarding to seeing you in class to help you sort out ANY information that you desire, and it would be our honor to to serve you in this program.
