athlete.
What is Parisi Speed School?
Parisi Speed School is a nationally licensed program designed to help improve speed, power strength, flexibility, endurance and self-confidence for athletic performance... or just for exercise and weight loss. There are 25 Parisi centers throughout the United States, and Universal hosts the only Parisi Speed School in Lancaster County. The program was created by Bill Parisi in Northern New Jersey in 1992.
Who is Parisi Speed School for?
Anyone with a desire to be a better athlete, increase confidence or just be more active can benefit from Parisi training classes. Designed for children ages 7 & up through adults, the program is suitable for all levels, athletes of any sport, or non-athletes.
What's in Universal's Parisi Center?
Our 9,000 square-foot center features a six-lane sprint track, grass turf section, specialized strength-training equipment, and conference area for students, parents and coaches.
How do I get started?
Simply contact our Parisi center at 569-5397 or TroyS@universalathleticclub.com to schedule an individual consultation and performance evaluation. The participant will be placed in a group based on their age, ability level and goal. Parisi offers training through various levels of programming. One-on-one training is also available. There's something for everybody at Parisi!
How long are the classes?
Each Parisi class is one hour long. We offer a very flexible schedule to accommodate the busy lives of today’s families. A Parisi class includes working with a certified Parisi trainer on specialized equipment, speed drills on the track, flexibility and balance exercises, nutrition advice, plus so much more.
Who teaches Parisi classes?
Universal is proud to have a select staff of Certified Sports Conditioning Specialists, including Troy Steffy, Kristen Karl, Rich Garcia and Luke Schwanke and more. In addition to being certified personal trainers, these staff members have completed an intense 12-week course and rigorous 6-day training to be able to instruct the program.
