CAMP UNIVERSAL
|
At camp Universal, we strive to provide social interaction in a safe, caring and non-competitive environment. We introduce children to health, fitness, teamwork and basic athletic skills. We take pride in our campers having a positive experience while being intorduced to a healthy lifestyle. Available in both half and full day options, Camp Universal is perfect for the family looking for a well-rounded summer for their kids ages 5 to 11. Some features of Camp Universal are:
- Available in both half and full day options.
-
Our sessions run from June 9 thru August 29th
-
Half day runs from 7 am - 1 pm or 1 pm - 6 pm
-
Full day runs from 7 am - 6 pm
Campers will play in the Kidmazium, participate in tennis, martial arts, swimming, actor’s studio, athletics, arts & crafts, cooking and science projects. Plus they’ll have time to just hang out and be with their friends. The following activities are included in Camp Universal: |
Martial Arts Universal's Martial Arts School studies the 2000 year old Korean martial art, Tae Kwon Do. Studying martial arts will help your child gain self-confidence, concentration, and build physical endurance.
The Actor's Studio The Actor’s Studio will enhance your child’s creativity, imagination and self-confidence. Campers will play charades, do improvisation, and get a chance to do what kids do best-act silly in front of other kids!
Tennis & Athletics Game, set, match! Campers will play tennis on the outdoor courts. No experience is necessary. Kids will learn how much fun this sport can be. We will mix it up a little by introducing a variety of sports, from soccer and basketball to kickball and hockey.
Swimming Monday through Thursday mornings, campers will participate in aquatic games and activities designed to build skills and enhance your campers experience in the water. Friday mornings and every afternoon are reserved for free swim-a chance to hang out at the pool, splash and play with your friends.
Incredible Inflatable Campers will experience Universal’s giant land inflatable. This obstacle course is complete with a 16 foot slide. We’ll have relays, race-the-counselor and more!
