Personal Trainer/Team Training Coach
The Universal Athletic Club Personal Trainer (UACPT) is responsible for the safe and effective execution of individual and small-group fitness training sessions, in accordance with MBSC Thrive and/or Universal Athletic Club Boxing fitness training programs. The UACPT must also execute the techniques, standards, and expectations of Universal Athletic Club. With the appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance training, the UACPT is responsible for helping individuals reach their desired health and fitness goals.
We are seeking both full-time and part-time positions.
Full-time position requires a minimum of 25 scheduled training hours per workweek and at least 5 office hours per week depending on the volume of clients trained.
Part-time position requires a minimum of 10 scheduled training hours per workweek.
We are specifically seeking coaches for early morning, mid-morning, and evening hours. These hours may range from 5:30am to 9pm depending on the shift, class schedule, or client appointments. The ability to coach boxing and/or kickboxing inspired workouts is preferred but not required. Any Boxing Fitness training techniques can be trained for the right candidate internally.
Conduct private and/or semi-private training sessions.
Conduct small group/ class training sessions.
Conduct team and camp workouts as assigned.
Communicate with general membership, clients, parents of athletes to report progress, build rapport and get referrals.
Assist in Personal Training, MBSC THRIVE, and UAC Boxing growth initiatives
Attend all staff development meetings and workshops.
Utmost ethical conduct
Ability to adhere to programming and the programming philosophy from training
Ability to motivate
Dedication to maintaining personal integrity and one’s own health and fitness
Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time efficiently
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to ask for money
Nationally recognized personal training certification REQUIRED. For the right candidate we will be willing to facilitate the proper certification within an agreed upon timeframe.
Active CPR certification
High School, GED, or Equivalency REQUIRED

Universal Athletic Club is seeking a full-time aquatics professional to join our aquatics team. This candidate will be responsible for life guarding, and teaching aquatic fitness classes. The candidate must be punctual, organized, detail-oriented, and growth-minded. Hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:45am-12:00pm Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm and various evening hours.
