About Kelley Donovan
Kelley holds Bachelor of Science degree in Health Behavior Science & Nutrition and a Masters Degree in Public Health, both from University of Delaware. Kelley is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), as well as a NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer.
Right after college, Kelley worked as a THRIVE Personal Trainer and Sports Performance Coach at UAC, in which she enjoyed working with clients of all ages.
Now that she has completed graduate school, Kelley says “I am beyond excited to return back to UAC. The environment is positive, upbeat, and encouraging. My coworkers are incredibly supportive and communicative, and I feel it's a place where I can continue to grow with my skills.”
Kelley’s role as UAC’s Health Promotion Specialist combines being a Lifestyle Consultant in the Nutrition & Wellness Center, as well as a Member Services Representative for the overall club.
“What I love about my multiple roles at UAC is the ability to interact with people on a daily basis. To me, this industry is about promoting health and helping people find the resources and support they need to improve their overall wellness. My strength in this industry lies in behavior change, where I can educate and guide people to make choices that positively impact their quality of life. That is my passion, and I'm lucky I get to foster that at UAC in multiple departments,” Kelley said.
Outside of Universal, Kelley is serious about running and is training for her fourth marathon. She says that proper nutrition has impacted her overall athletic performance the most. She loves sharing and trying new recipes. She also enjoys spending time with her niece, Lena.
“I would like to encourage everyone and anyone to make even small positive changes in their lifestyle, as they can have big impacts on all aspects of wellness. I'm here for support in the Nutrition & Wellness Center, so stop in anytime and say hi!”
