Next Steps:

“I’ve had back problems since I was in my early 20’s due to a herniated disc. I also believe that I inherited Degenerative Disc Disease from my father. Over the years I have been able to manage my back problems through exercise, stretching, and careful posturing and lifting techniques.

My back pain and spasm have gotten worse over the last 10 years, and what suffered the most was my ability to play tennis. A couple of years ago, my back spasm became so severe that I resorted to steroid injections for relief… but that was helpful only for a few weeks.

This past summer my friend Karen Wilkins suggested I try the HydroMassage bed at Universal. I wasn’t sure what it would do for my tennis game, but I loved the way my back felt afterwards. Over a course of a few months, I noticed that the pain in my back has greatly diminished, and my flexibility has improved.

After feeling better through HydroMassage I began to cautiously play tennis again. Amazingly, I am now able to play tennis 5 times a week pain free! I make it part of my health routine to use the massage bed at least 3 to 4 times per week. When I begin the massage, my back is usually a bit tight and sore, but at the end of the 10 minutes, it feels great. I am thrilled with the progress I’ve made!”
