A: Weigh Way Less is a weight loss program designed to promote life long eating habits. Losing weight is beneficial if you can maintain the lifestyle that helped you lose the weight.
Initially Weigh Way Less is a minimum of 8 weeks. Participants can add time to the program as necessary until they are ready to follow the plan alone. The staff is supportive of participants’ unique goals and offers helpful recipes and options to motivate when the going gets tough. Typically, each appointment is about 15 minutes in length. The staff will review your food journal and offer help as needed. Body Composition and Fit3d Body Scan are offered along the way to evaluate changes in fat and lean muscle tissue
A: If travel is part of your life, then this program is essential. We will give you an eating-out guide, with options from some popular chain restaurants to help you make healthier choices.
A: The Weigh Way Less program is designed with real food in mind. The recommended food list accompanying the program is made up of items that can be purchased at a grocery store or your favorite farmer’s market. If you choose, there are optional protein snacks available for purchase in our Nutrition & Wellness Center that include the recommended number of proteins and starches in a snack.
A: A great eating plan should include some type of life’s little pleasures on occasion. We can work with your small indulgences and make them part of your plan.
A: Yes! We can easily accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
A: Educating yourself about food and exercise is the first step to lowering your blood sugars. We will come up with a specific plan to address your specific concerns in relation to diabetes or any other health condition.
