Lost 57 pounds and 54.5 inches through Weigh Way Less Program!
“I feel like a new woman mentally and physically! Before joining Universal, I was unmotivated, sluggish, physically struggling and just tired. Mentally I was stuck in a rut. I knew something had to change, and joining UAC forced me, in a sense, to do what I already knew I needed to do.
Learning How to Eat Smart
I heard about Universal’s Nutrition & Wellness Center when I became a member of the club, and I chose to enroll in the WEIGH WAY LESS program because I definitely needed to lose some pounds.
Getting help from the Nutrition & Wellness Center was the best decision I could’ve made for myself! After seeing the results in just the first four weeks of the program, I was motivated and ready to start my journey!
The WEIGH WAY LESS program is excellent, and the staff (including Cathy, Heather & Jenn) have been amazing in helping me to achieve my goals. What I like about the program is that it’s simple to follow, realistic in terms of teaching you how to eat long term, not just temporarily! The staff is very knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. They are able to relate to you in your struggles, give you that push you need to get back or stay on track, and give you the tools you need to succeed!
Now Loving Classes at UAC
Exercise has also played a huge roll in my success! I now take UAC group training classes 5 times a week! I like variety, so I mix in a little of everything… BODYPUMP, BODYATTACK, BODYVIVE, BODYJAM, Zumba, CXWORX, BODYFLOW, RPM, BODYFLOW, aquatic fitness and GRIT when I can. The instructors are great and they push you to your limits. What I love about all the classes is modification. So, no matter what your level is, there are always options!
The advice or encouragement that I give to others trying to reach their goal is that this is a lifetime journey, not a destination. We’re all a work in progress! We’re not always going to be on the straight and narrow, we will stray. We like to eat, drink and be merry! The important thing is to not give up, don’t get down on yourself if you have a bad day or week! You will surprised by some of the most subtle but important choices you make along the way!”
